Mr. Manuel Fernández Escabias is a predoctoral researcher at the University of Granada with an outstanding academic record in Sport Sciences and a strong focus on exercise, physiology, and oncology. He is currently pursuing a PhD in biomedicine on multidisciplinary prehabilitation and rehabilitation to reduce postoperative complications in colon cancer surgery. He has received several prestigious awards, including the Blas Cabrera Scholarship, Best Master’s Thesis Award, and University of Granada Talent Award. Alongside his research, he is also building a strong teaching profile in physiology and exercise science while mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students.
