Shengping Hou, Ph.D., began his academic journey at Sun Yat-sen University in China, where he obtained his Ph.D. in Ocular Immunology in 2009. Following his Ph.D., Dr. Hou furthered his expertise with a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, specializing in Ocular Stem Cell Biology, which he completed in 2016.
